Everybody's welcome — real support for the children and families in our community.
Senior facilities are our main focus — but Checkmate Community began by standing with families affected by incarceration, and we're bringing that work back. Here's how we help kids and families build a stronger future:
Each holiday season we collect and hand out toys to children in our community, so no family goes without a little joy.
We teach family members — not just the kids — how to handle taxes and finances. When a loved one comes home from incarceration, they can reconnect around a real plan for a better future.
We're building a program to help people returning home from incarceration find work and get back on their feet — because a fresh start needs a real opportunity.
Community fundraisers and gatherings that power our programs and bring neighbors together for a shared cause.
Pick the program, tell us your date, we handle the rest.
